    Excellent with the ball at his feet and a player who loves to take on opposing defenders

    Born in the Catalan town of Figueres on 31 May 2003, Óscar Ureña came through the youth system at Girona before making his debut for their first team in the 2021/22 season. 

    The following campaign he made three more appearances before leaving on loan for Cartagena in the Second Division. In 2023/24 Ureña was again loaned out to a Segunda side, this time Leganés, helping them to promotion with three assists in his 36 matches. 

    An international with the Dominican Republic, Ureña took part in the football tournament in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
