Members' Ombudsman
The Members' Ombudsman is a single-person body that is independent of the Board of Directors, and whose mission is to assist, advise and defend the rights of members in their relations with the club, and also to produce and update the club's electoral census in accordance with Article 57 of the Club Statutes.
The Members' Ombudsman post may only be filled by a distinguished Club member, one who has never served on the Board of Directors of the Club or had any prior professional or business relationship with the it, nor anyone who is a close or distant relative — fourth degree or less — of any member of the Board of Directors putting forth the nomination or employee of the Club.
The Members' Ombudsman is nominated by the Board of Directors and must be ratified at the General Assembly. The five-year mandate begins on the day the Board of Directors approves the nomination. The Members' Ombudsman may be reelected to a second five-year term.
The Club's administration shall provide an office, independently managed by Members' Ombudsman and open to all members, for the purpose of carrying out the functions outlined in Article 57.1.e) of the Club Statutes.
