A guard who stands out for his versatility and shooting

Born on 30 October 1991 in the Czech Republic capital Prague, Tomas Satoransky began his career in the youth teams at USK Praga until he signed for CB Sevilla at the age of 17. The guard made his debut in the ACB League in 2009 before joining Barça in 2014 and after two seasons in blaugrana he left for the NBA. 

In the NBA from 2016 to 2022, the Czech made his mark in the best league in the world, even though last season he represented three different teams. 'Sato' made a total of 388 appearances in the North American league with an average of 7 points, 3 rebound, 4 assists and 22 minutes per game. 

The shooting guard was at Washington Wizards between 2016 and 2019 and the second half of the 2021/22 season, playing 232 games. Between 2019 and 2021 he was at the Chicago Bulls with the 2019/20 campaign his best in stats: 10 points, 4 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 29 minutes per game. 

Satoransky began the 2021/22 season at New Orleans before moving to Portland in February being traded immediately to San Antonio and, after cancelling his contract, he returned to Washington to average 19 minutes per game. 

In 2022 Satoransky returned to Barça for a second spell as a blaugrana. 

In his first season back at Barça the Czech guard slipped back in perfectly to the squad and, along with Mirotic, was the most used player by coach Saras Jasikevicius in the Euroleague.
