Valero Rivera Folch is to wear the FC Barcelona handball shirt again after a deal was agreed for him to play for the first team until the 2018/19 season
Born on 22 February 1985, the Catalan joined the FCB youth system in 1995, and played at all levels for ten years before leaving for Zaragoza in 2005. He then went on to play Liga Asobal handball at Algesires (2007), Guadalajara (2008) and Octavio (2009).
In 2010, he joined Nantes, where he has really started to make his name, being named league MVP in 2012.
The 1.89 m tall left wing was part of the world title winning Spain squad in 2013. , and was also in the teams that won bronze at Denmark 2014 and silver at the Euros in Poland last week.
