Barça Lassa and Phillip Michael Pressey have reached an agreement for the 2017/18 season, with the option to continue for one more. The point guard, 26, passed his medical check-up.
Quick across court, able to score, always active and with great hands, he can also give the team direction thanks to his great understanding of the game.
A University of Missouri alumnus (2010-13), Pressey was not drafted but the Boston Celtics offered him a contract and he played a total of 125 games over two seasons with them (2013-15).
In 2015/16, he was part of the Philadelphia 76ers (14 games), the Phoenix Suns (9 games) and also turned out 31 times for the Idaho Stampede in the D-League, scoring 13.7 points and giving 6.9 Assists.
The past season has been spent at the Santa Cruz Warriors, Golden State’s affiliate from the D-League.
In 46 appearances, Pressey averaged 18 points, 5.3 rebounds and 8.1 assists in 33 minutes per game.
