FC Barcelona has an enormous game this Sunday when it hosts second-place Atlético Madrid with a chance to increase its lead in the standings to eight points. And Barça's prime weapon will be none other than Leo Messi, who has shown time and again how much he loves scoring against Atlético, especially at Camp Nou. Since 2007, Messi has 15 goals against Atlético in all competitions: 14 in La Liga and 1 in the Copa del Rey, including three 2-goal games and two hat tricks.
Messi has scored with both legs, and from every distance and angle, and has been assisted by a who's who of current and former teammates, like Ronaldinho, Xavi, Dani Alves (twice), Pedro, David Villa, Alexis Sánchez, and Jordi Alba.
The last goal Messi scored against Atlético at Camp Nou, however, came over two years ago, on January 30, 2016. Now it's time for Messi to add to his tally.
