FC Barcelona arrived in Turin, Italy on Tuesday at midday, one day before a crucial UEFA Champions League matchup with Juventus.
The match, which kicks off at 8.45pm, pits Group D leaders Barça against second-place Juve in a decisive clash that will likely determine whether one or both go through to the last 16 or if they will have to wait until the final day of the group stage to sew up a berth in the next round.
Barça needs a draw or better to clinch a spot in the Round of 16 as group winners, thus allowing them to avoid other group winners in the first knockout stage. Barça is looking for its 14th straight last 16 appearance.
The team’s plane left Barcelona-El Prat Airport on Tuesday morning at 10.45am and landed in Turin at 12.00 noon.
In addition to the 19 players named to the squad for the game against Juventus—and the coaching staff—the Club’s delegation included the Board Members Jordi Moix, Silvio Elías, and Xavier Vilajoana.
