The most decisive part of the season is here and Barça fans know it. With FC Barcelona still fighting for three titles: League leader by 11 points, in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, and also in the Copa del Rey final (against Sevilla), supporters have turned up in their thousands to support the team.
A ‘12th man’ in the stands of the Camp Nou gives the players an injection of morale and strength. A total of 85,417 spectators attended Barça-Girona, 90,356 against Atlético Madrid, 97,183 against Chelsea and, finally, 84,053 fans last Sunday against Athletic Club. An average of 89,252 spectators in the last four home games, a spectacular record.
Although the average attendance was below the usual numbers at the beginning of the season, at this decisive moment, the culers haven’t failed to show their support. Now, with the quarterfinals of the Champions League on the horizon and the last few League games remaining, the fans will surely continue to fill the Camp Nou to capacity.
