With Gomes's family — his father, Casemiro Gomes; his mother, Maria Julieta; his brother, Nuno; and his girlfriend, Lisa — with him throughout the morning, the midfielder took the new team shirt that had just been given to him by Club President Josep Maria Bartomeu, and he handed it over to his father.
