Neymar Jr returns to training

Thursday’s training session at Ciutat Esportiva saw the return of Neymar Jr, as well as Mascherano, Umtiti, Digne and Cillessen, who all made their way back from international duty.

Neymar returns to the setup after winning Olympic gold with Brazil, followed by two World Cup qualifying matches with the senior side in which he scored two and set up two.

Luis Enrique also called on Barça B duo Gumbau and Marlon to the session as preparations for Saturday’s league match against Alaves continue.

Leo Messi participated in the first part of training with the group before moving on to specific exercises.
