Neymar believes that Barça can come back in their Champions League quarter-final second leg against Juventus despite the difficult task facing the blaugranes. In an interview with Brazilian TV station Esporte Interativo, the striker revealed his faith in a second comeback in this season’s competition. “In the Champions League every game is difficult but we are the same team as before and we can do it again. We have to give everything but we believe in the comeback,” said Neymar.
Looking back at the historic 6-1 win in the second leg of the last round against Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar revealed he was not sure who had scored the deciding goal. “I hadn’t seen Sergi Roberto, my cross was meant for Messi and Piqué, in fact I thought it was Piqué who had scored. It’s funny because during the game I kept telling Sergi Roberto to get into the box because I knew he would score.”
In the interview carried out by legendary former Brazil international Zico, Neymar also admitted his current settled frame of mind. “I feel good at Barça, I am happy here and all players want to play alongside good players,” the Barça number 11 continued.
Neymar also left his feelings clear about a certain team mate of his: “If I wasn’t Neymar, I would like to be Messi. He is the best.” Although for the Brazilian, being the top player in the world is not on his mind. “I am not thinking about being the best in the world, it’s not something I have as a priority. If I play well, these things will come,” he concluded.
