Great start for the Barça roller hockey team in the OK Liga. David Cáceres' side's debut in the this season's domestic competition saw them defeat Voltregà 5-0 after a pretty much dominant performance throughout. An Alabart brace and a Font finish saw them go in three up at half-time, with a second-half Sergi Llorca brace sealing the win.
Alabart sets the pace
The Super Cup win celebrations continued into the game after the prematch tribute to the champions at the Palau, two virtually consecutive goals putting Barça ahead early in the game.
Alabart struck first (1-0, min 7) before he assisted Ferran Font (2-0, min 7). A great first half was rounded off by super strike, again by Alabart (3-0, min 24) who was really setting the pace.
Sergi Llorca leads to finishing line
Barça left nothing to chance after the restart despite being 3-0 up and Sergi Llorca led the charge to the finishing line, scoring early into the second half (4-0, min 27).
Pablo Álvarez, Aragonés and Alabart all had chances to score the fifth, but it was that man Sergi Llorca, assisted by Matias Pascual, who completed the scoring (5-0, min 41) and sealed the first OK Liga win of the season.
