Barça 6-0 Liceo: Big game, big win

Delight in the Palau as Barça beat Liceo 6-0 in the first of two consecutive matches against the Galicians. It took Edu Castro's team until the 19th minute to open the scoring but once in front they pressed home their advantage ruthlessly. 

Tight game early on 

Both side had chances in the early minutes with visitors Liceo looking the better team. However, after nearly 20 minutes without a goal, the blaugranes finally found a way through with Marc Grau finishing after an excellent pass from Alabart. The floodgates open, Alabart himself made it 2-0 just a minute later with a good shot on the turn. 

Before half time the blaugranes asserted their dominance with more goals from first João Rodrigues and then Grau once more to make it 4-0 at half time. 

The party continues 

In the second half the pace did not let up and Rodrigues added a second for himself and a fifth for Barça after an excellent team move. Alabart rounded off the win with his second of the game to cap a great night for the blaugranes.
