Lionel Messi had another hugely successful year in 2018. The Argentine was the top goalscorer of the year, finding the net on 47 occasions in the 50 games in which he featured. Messi also provided 26 assists for his Barça teammates.
Below him on the list are strikers such as Cristiano Ronaldo (43 goals), Robert Lewandowski (42), Mo Salah (37) and Harry Kane (34). This is the fourth time that Messi has been Europe's top goalscorer in a year, as he did likewise in 2010 (58 goals), 2012 (91) and 2016 (59).
Luis Suárez is seventh on the list with 32 goals. FC Barcelona are thus the only club with two players inside the Top 10 goalscorers of 2018.
