Squad announced for Cultural
The Copa del Rey returns to the Camp Nou on Wednesday night as Barça face Cultural Leonesa in the second leg of a tie that they currently lead 1-0.
Ernesto Valverde has named the following list of players for the game against the Division 2B side Ter Stegen, Semedo, I. Rakitic, Denis Suárez, Coutinho, O. Dembélé, Cillessen, Malcom, Lenglet, Munir, Aleñá, Vidal, Vermaelen, Miranda, Riqui Puig, Collado, O. Busquets, Chumi, Guillem.
That means he has opted to rest all of Piqué, Sergio, Messi and Jordi Alba, who will be sitting the game out along with the injured Arthur, Suárez, Rafinha, Samper, S. Roberto and Umtiti.
The good news is that both goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen and defender Thomas Vermaelen were given the medical all-clear and have been included in the squad.
Final workout
The team trained at the Ciutat Esportiva on Tuesday evening, with Leo Messi doing separate exercises to the bulk of the squad, and Iñaki Peña, Guillem, Chumi, Cuenca, Miranda, O. Busquets, Collado, Riqui Puig and Abel Ruiz of Barça B also participating with an eye to their inclusion in tomorrow's cup tie.
