Malcom’s first goal for Barça, to make it 0-1 against Inter Milan with what turned out to be the goal to qualify the blaugranes for the next stage of the Champions League, sees him join an illustrious list of Brazilian players to have found the net for the Club.
It came in the 83rd minute of Tuesday’s match, a shot from outside the area which flashed past Handanovic and ensured Barça will emerge from the group stages of the European competition for the 15th consecutive season.
Romario quickly premiered as a scorer for the Club, with a hat-trick against Real Sociedad that would be the prelude to what he would end up contributing as a striker. Ronaldo also started well with a double against Atlético Madrid (5-2) at the Camp Nou.
Rivaldo began life as a Barça front man with a double against Real Sociedad in a 3-0 win, whilst Ronaldinho’s howitzer against Sevilla is still talked about. Neymar Jr. scored his first goal in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup against Atlético, a goal that saw Barça lift the title at the Camp Nou after a 0-0 draw in the return.
