Cillessen suffers intercostal muscle sprain

FC Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen has picked up a sprain to an intercostal muscle on his left side. His availability for the upcoming fixtures will depend on his recovery from the injury.

The Dutch shotstopper suffered the injury in this morning's training session. Although he did not feature in the LaLiga opener against Alavés, Cillessen was one of the most frequently used players on the club's U.S. Tour and played 45 minutes against Boca Juniors in the Joan Gamper Trophy game.
