Petteri Koponen has received the all clear and has left hospital four days after being admitted. The Finnish player can now rest at home and continue his recovery from a head injury suffered on Sunday night when the taxi he was traveling in was involved in a multiple collision.
Soon after being allowed to leave the hospital, he expressed his wish to go to see his teammates at the Palau. It was a brief visit, before Bartzokas’ side held its final session before leaving for Vitoria where, from Friday, they will dispute a new edition of the Super Cup Endesa.
Koponen wished his teammates all the best and got all his colleagues and staff to sign one of his shirts.
