Barça travel to Anoeta on Sunday, one of the most difficult away fixtures in La Liga. Real Sociedad have been strong at home with 13 points from 18. Luis Enrique has said: “the game will be an attractive one against quality opposition and I expect Real Sociedad to play without fear.”
The Basque team were praised by the Asturian coach for the variety of options they have: “Real Sociedad is capable of being very attacking with the ball and very defensive without it. They are one of the few teams who can effectively play the ball both long and short.” This ability to mix up their game will demand maximum respect from Barça's squad and the team are hoping to get a victory tomorrow.
Ex blaugrana Eusebio Sacristán was described by Lucho as a “top level coach who is very attacking” whilst noting how well his rival's team is playing at the moment and their impressive position in the league table.
Barça's coach is also aware that his team haven't won at Anoeta for a decade: “What has happened in previous years doesn't affect anything that could happen tomorrow, there is no influence.” Instead of this long run without a win at this ground, the coach prefered to focus on the team's most recent win at Celtic Park which is also a difficult away ground.
Finally on the subject of Iniesta and Umtiti he stressed that “the most important thing is to get them back and they will decide along with the doctors when they are available again.”
