It was a great day at the office for FC Barcelona Lassa as they saw off a tough opponent in Palma Futsal with a superb display, winning 5-1 at home.
The game took a while to get going with both sides looking to establish control. However, it was Barça who went ahead on 13 minutes through Maico’s own goal as he inadvertently got a touch on Marc Tolrà’s initial strike.
It did not take too long for Barça to double their lead as Adolfo got on the end of Aicardo’s cross on 21 minutes. Just two minutes later it was 3-0 as some fine work from Quintela was ended by a great finish from Sarmiento.
Palma got back into the game on 26 minutes through Chicho but their optimism was short lived as Adolfo made it 4-1 three minutes later.
The rout was complete through Rómulo on 40 minutes as Barça came away with a big win against a direct league rival.
