On a cool and breezy evening in Northern California, Futbol Club Barcelona went through its final workout of its 2018 summer tour in the United States, holding practice at Levi’s stadium in Santa Clara, the site of Saturday night’s match against AC Milan.
All available players took part in Friday’s session, with head coach Ernesto Valverde getting his final look at the players ahead of Saturday night’s clash, which is set for 5.00pm PST on the very same field.
The only novelty on Friday was the absence of midfielder Aleix Vidal, who returned to Barcelona earlier in the day with Club permission due to the possibility of his departure from the team.
Following Saturday night’s game, the team will fly back to Barcelona on an overnight flight, with an expected arrival at Barcelona-El Prat airport on Sunday evening, around 7.00pm CET.
