Luis Enrique fielded questions from the media on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s league match against Leganés (8.45pm CET).
Going into the game on the back of that disappointing 4-0 defeat in the Champions League to Paris Saint-Germain, the Asturian said that the upcoming match “will serve to show what our reaction will be to a difficult situation”.
Here is the pick of what Luis Enrique told the media:
“It would be naive to think only about the second leg. First we have to play four league matches which are key.”
“Leganés have many different facets, not only on the tactical side, but that they have different types of individuals which can cause problems.”
“I’m not sure which Leganés we will encounter, but they normally pressure high up the field.”
“I have hope that the leaders will lose points, regardless of who it is against.”
“The team needs the ball, we must close spaces and avoid the transitions of the opponent.”
