FC Barcelona wins 800th all-time in La Liga at Camp Nou

FC Barcelona’s 3-0 triumph over Sevilla was no typical Wednesday night at Camp Nou. Putting aside the fact that league games are rarely held midweek, this victory was the team’s 800th all-time at Camp Nou in La Liga.

** The Inter-Cities Fairs Cup Trophy Play-Off was held just once, to decide which club would permanently own the hardware for the soon-to-be-abolished tournament. Barça, the inaugural champions faced Leeds, the reigning champions, on 22 September 1971. Barça won, 2–1, and became the eternal owners of the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup Trophy.
