In the car with…Ousmane Dembélé

Ousmane Dembélé has already become acquainted with his new surroundings at FC Barcelona having been officially presented, and trained for the first time with his new teammates. 

But he’s only just made his move in the last few days, so what better way to get to know the new kid on the block than with this intimate interview.

After arriving at the club, he had this chat with club’s media and spoke about his hobbies, his taste in music, and what he gets up to in his spare time. 

And he also spoke about his long-standing admiration for Barça. “It’s a dream come true. I’ve always been a Barça fan, because I’ve always enjoyed the style of play and the players who’ve been here over the years.”

“I am so proud to be part of this team.”

Welcome aboard, ‘Mosquito’

A real plus for him is the existing relationship he has with Samuel Umtiti and Lucas Digne. Indeed, the French pair already recorded a welcome message for the winger. Dembélé admits they talked a lot about Barça, and about what it was like to play here.

He even had an intriguing little anecdote. “When I met Samuel, he told me to get my things ready because, I would be coming here with him.”
