FC Barcelona v Real Madrid league fixture date and kickoff time confirmed

The wait is over, LaLiga has announced that the matchday 35 fixture between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid is set to be played on May 11, kickoff 4.15pm CEST. A date for the diary when the football world comes to a standstill.

The match will take place at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys and will be the second league meeting this season between two teams who are going head to head for the title. The blaugranes have the edge as it stands, with a four point lead over their great rivals, whom have been regular opponents this season, with there set to be a total of at least five games between them before the season ends as it stands.

Blaugrana fans can be happy so far, because Barça have won each of the three previous encounters this season. These results are likely to have fuelled thoughts of revenge at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, and the all-whites had success there last season in LaLiga, with Bellingham bagging a brace in their victory.
