The brilliant win for Barça in the Metropolitano against Atlético Madrid has come at a price with both Marc Casadó and Iñigo Martinez picking up injuries. The two players had been due to join up with the Spain squad for the upcoming international matches but their physical problems mean that neither will be going on international duty.
Tests carried out on 17 March have shown that the first team player Marc Casadó has a lateral collateral ligament injury in his right knee. The player is to undergo further tests to ascertain the extent of the injury and subsequent treatment.
Tests on the same day also confirmed that the first team player Iñigo Martinez has a swollen right knee. The player will undergo treatment in Barcelona under the supervision of the Club’s medical staff.
