Against Real Sociedad Gerard Martín and Marc Casadó score their first goals for Barça

What a day for Gerard Martín and Marc Casadó against Real Sociedad as both players recorded their first ever goals for the FC Barcelona first team in the 4-0 win for Hansi Flick's side. The full back scored the opener for his side and the midfielder added the second with the game still in the first half.

Barça through and through

It has been a busy week at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys for first team scorers for Barça. On Tuesday against Atlético Madrid in the Copa del Rey defender Pau Cubarsí found the net for the first time and now on Sunday in La Liga two more players have repeated the feat.

Midfielder Marc Casadó scored the second goal in Barça's win over Real Sociedad, deflecting Dani Olmo's shot past keeper Remiro on his 38th appearance for the Barça first team. Team mate Gerard Martín had already opened the scoring for the blaugranes in the game. Dani Olmo was again involved, setting up the left back perfectly to volley home on his 24th appearance for the first team in the week of his 23rd birthday.

Goals in the 25th and 29th minute of the first half that will live long in the memory of both players and that helped Barça back to the top of the table in their pursuit of the La Liga title.
