Ter Stegen and Cata Coll to take part in Sports Tomorrow Congress 2025

The Congress, organised by BIHUB, will take place on Monday 3 and Tuedsay 4 March as part of the Mobile World Congress and will also feature president Joan Laporta

The Sports Tomorrow Congress, the event organised by Barça Innovation Hub (BIHUB) and which takes place on Monday 3 March and Tuesday 4 March, will see two FC Barcelona figures take part: Barça goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen and Barça Women goalkeeper Cata Coll. Still recovering from a serious knee injury, Ter Stegen will appear at 12.30pm CET on Tuesday in a session on the subject of football and technology. Cata Coll will be part of a discussion on women's sport starting at 4.55pm CET where she will be joined by Dr. Eva Ferrer, an expert on health in women's sport from the Barça Innovation Hub. 

FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta will close the day's proceedings on Monday at 5.55pm CET with a speech touching on the spirit of the Congress and the celebration of the Club's 125th anniversary. 

Albert ‘Chapi’ Ferrer also to appear

Also on Monday, at 1.15pm CET, former FC Barcelona player and 'Dream Team' member Albert 'Chapi' Ferrer will be part of a talk on the topic of a footballer's career, from youth level to global success at an elite club. 

The main act of this year's congress and the focus of many of the speeches will be FC Barcelona's Center of Sporting Excellence, ​​the Club's area responsible for coordinating the definition, development, and application of a high performance model for every sport in the educational and professional domains. Under the slogan "Hold the roots, mold the next”, various professionals who work in this area of the Club on aspects such as performance, medicine and psychology amongst others. 

Some of the people who will be taking part are Laia Soler, director of the Center of Sporting Excellence at FC Barcelona; Xavier Corbella, director of the FC Barcelona medical services; Mireia Porta, head of nutrition at the FC Barcelona medical services; Gil Rodas, head of sports medicine at the Barça Innovation Hub and Martí Matabosch, director of the department of physical preparation at FC Barcelona.
