Centre back heads home a corner to claim the equaliser in a dramatic cup encounter with Atlético Madrid

Pau Cubarsí had to wait 63 games to finally get to feel what it's like to score for Barça, but in Tuesday's Copa del Rey semi-final first leg against Atlético Madrid he did, making it 2-2 in a vibrant encounter at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

Goal from a corner

The goal came from a beautifully executed Raphinha corner kick, and the centre back was waiting to head the ball home. The stadium exploded, and so did the defender, sprinting with glee and kissing the club badge as he went.

Carbon copy

Cubarsí's goal was replicated towards the end of the first half, with yet another brilliant Raphinha corner, this time finding Iñigo Martinez in the exact same place. Barça had come back from 2-0 down in the first six minutes to lead at the break, with two of the goals scored by the centre backs from corners.
