On Monday 17 March, everyone registered for the Culer Walk can come to the Auditori 1899 to collect their number and commemorative Nike shirt ready for the walk happening on the 22nd of the same month, with Montserrat Abbey as the final destination. Walkers will also receive a bag of goodies provided by FC Barcelona sponsors Damm, Bimbo, Prime, Rilastil and Coca-Cola.
The unique, technical design Nike shirt is one that can't be found in the shops. Meanwhile, the goodies include a bottle of Veri water, a 125th anniversary Estrella beer, Cero & cero cereals and seed sliced bread, a Prime hydration drink, Rilastil suncream, lemon flavoured Fuze Tea Zero and Aneto chicken broth. The cloth bag is an item itself, bearing the walk logo and containing a reusable Sant Joan Despí council cup, FC Barcelona stickers and an anniversary badge.
Two routes
The walk is open to all fans and consists of two routes. The long 47 km one leaves the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, outside the Estadi Johan Cruyff; while the shorter 6.5 km walk joins in from Rambla de Collbató. The minimum age for the long walk is 16, and is 12 for the short one. A parent or guardian must oversee the registration of children. The long walk costs 50 euros for members, 53 for supporters clubs and 55 for anyone else. The shorter one costs 30 euros, 33 euros and 35 euros for the same groups.
The registration fee covers a number and time chip, the official shirt and the goodie bag, as well as medical and accident insurance, drink stations, and information and monitoring on arrival at Montserrat.
