Two groups at training with Super Cup Final in mind

Barça are still in Saudi Arabia after their victory over Athletic Club on Tuesday made sure that they'll be one of the two teams in Sunday's Spanish Super Cup Final. No doubt they will all be watching avidly this evening as the other semi-final, between Mallorca and Real Madrid, decides who they'll be facing in the showdown for the first major trophy of 2025. That game kicks off at 8pm CET, like all games in this competition that is being hosted so impeccably by the city of Jeddah.

Divide and conquer

But before any of that, there was training, which today involved the squad splitting into two separate groups. The players who started the game the night before stayed at the hotel and did a post-match warm-down routine in the gym. Meanwhile, the rest of the group were transported to the field next door to King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, where they followed a more demanding training routine.
