The number of international FC Barcelona supporters clubs has moved up from 157 to 159 following the recognition of two new penyes from Belgium.
The Penya Blaugrana de Bruxelles is based in the capital city, Brussels, a city where people of more than 100 different nationalities live, the perfect environment for spreading the blaugrana vibe among people from so many contrasting backgrounds and cultures. The members of the club get together to watch Barça games and cheer on the different teams.
Meanwhile, the Penya Blaugrana Lier-Antwerpen is run by a group of fans who have been working since 2015 to get a Barça penya going in the town on Lier, in the province of Antwerp. Through effort and dedication they have achieved their goal. The members of PB Lier-Antwerpen organize regular social events like barbecues, paella evenings and other activities to foster the blaugrana spirit in the region, as well as gathering to watch Barça games in their clubhouse. They travel to Barcelona twice a year to watch matches in person.
