Goals from Antonio, Dyego and Fits were not enough for victory for Barça away from home at Osasuna Magna Xota in the league. A last minute goal from Pachu handed the home side a comeback win to condemn the blaugranes to their second successive defeat in the league. The good news for Tino Pérez's side was the return of Khalid to action after his recovery from an injury picked up in the World Cup in the summer.
Antonio opened the scoring for the blaugranes with his 10th in 12 matches after a counter started by Dyego. However, Osasuna struck back in the 10th minute through Pachi and then took the lead a minute later with Argentine Geraghty finishing well.
In the second half Osasuna keeper Asier made several important saves before Dyego leveled it up at 2-2 on the half hour mark. Barça appeared to be heading for victory when Fits put them ahead on 32 minutes with Khalid involved. The home side, however, never gave up and a Saldise penalty and a goal from Pachu in the final seconds turned victory into defeat for the blaugranes.
Barça are done for 2024 in the league but face a Copa Catalunya semi-final on Sunday against Hospitalet at 4.30pm CET.
