Lamine Yamal receives Golden Boy trophy at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys
The Barça star has become the club's fourth winner of the award

Last November 27, Italian paper Tuttosport announced Lamine Yamal as this year's Golden Boy, and 18 days later the player got to show the trophy off to the home fans in the build-up to the game with Leganés. The 17-year-old was presented the award by Federico Vincenzoni, Chief Executive Officer of Tuttosport to a huge ovation at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
Lamine Yamal is the club's fourth winner of the award for the best young player in the world, following in the footsteps of Messi (2005), Pedri (2021) and Gavi (2022). Earlier in the year, the youngster also collected the Kopa Trophy.
The Golden Boy gala on Monday 16 December will also have blaugrana winners in Vicky López, the club's first winner of the female equivalent, the Golden Girl, and Aitana Bonmatí who has again been named as the Golden Player Woman.
