Barça 7-1 Noia Freixenet: Five-goal Pablito inspires win

Tonight was Pablo Álvarez's night with five goals as Barça ripped apart Noia Freixenet. Sergi Llorca and Ferran Font added to the Argentine's magnificence in the last game of 2024 at the Palau.

After losing to Reus and drawing at home with Barcelos, Barça were keen to notch up a win, but it wasn't going to be asy against a Noia side who are setting Europe alight this season.

But with Pablo Álvarez firing not on all four cylinders but on five there was only ever going to be one winner tonight. Three goals in the space of six minutes, all of them outstanding, gave Barça a 3-0 lead, and he added a fourth just after the break. Barça kept pummelling ahead in search of more, and that was how they got caught on the counter and Noia managed to nick back a consolation goal.

Ferran Font has scored in every league game so far, and wasn't going to let today go by without making it ten in a row, and then Alvarez rounded off his five-goal spree and the 7-1 win.

No more games at home this year, but December still brings two road trips to Porto (13/12) and Caldes (17/12).
