'Panenka' magazine presents a special issue dedicated to FC Barcelona on its 125th anniversary
Yesterday the commercial offices of FC Barcelona were the scene of the presentation of a very special issue of the magazine Panenka. On the occasion of the Club's 125th anniversary, this publication, known for its reflective and humanistic look at football, has dedicated an entire issue to exploring the essence and history of Barça.
The institutional vice president, Elena Fort, and the board member Miquel Camps were in charge of welcoming the event, which had a wide representation of the media. During his speech, Fort highlighted the opportunity that this anniversary represents to reflect on the founding values of the Club: “125 is the time to strengthen the essence of the Club, inseparably linked to Catalonia, its people and democracy.” For his part, Camps emphasized the value of an initiative like this, which delves into the stories and values that have defined the Club throughout its 125 years.
A number dedicated to Barça
With this special issue, Panenka proposes a vision of FC Barcelona that connects directly with its founding manifesto: telling football stories that do not find space in traditional media. The edition explores the values, anecdotes and figures that have made Barça “more than a club”, with an approach that links sport, society and culture.
This issue thus becomes an invitation to reflect on what it means to be a Barça player, revisiting key moments in its history and delving into how the Club has become a global benchmark of democracy, solidarity and identity. As highlighted Panenka, football has the ability to transport us to other times and realities, and this specimen is an excellent example of this.
An innovative framework for the presentation
The event was held at the commercial offices of FC Barcelona, a space dedicated to the marketing of Barça Hospitality's proposal for the future Spotify Camp Nou. With a design conceptualized by Legends, these facilities combine functionality and innovation, with an immersive experience that positions the Club as a pioneer in the management of VIP experiences.
This environment became the perfect setting to present a magazine that, like the offices, is committed to innovation without forgetting the essence and legacy.
An alliance between football and culture
This number of Panenka reaffirms the role of football as a cultural phenomenon, capable of telling stories that transcend the playing field. The collaboration between FC Barcelona and this publication demonstrates the Club's commitment to initiatives that not only celebrate its past, but also contribute to projecting a broader vision of what it means to be part of the Blaugrana community.
With this edition, Panenka not only does it celebrate Barça's 125 years, but it invites us to reflect on its role in society, reaffirming the words of Elena Fort: a Club inseparably linked to Catalonia, its people and democracy. With this publication, Panenka and Barça join forces to highlight what football can be when it is lived through passion and reflection.
