Aitana's Ballon d'Or, best moment of October

In yet another exciting poll to pick the moment of the month, voters have picked Aitana Bonmatí's second consecutive Ballon d'Or award as the biggest of all in October.

Monday 28 October was the big day when she was announced as the winner at the ceremony organised by France Football in Paris. Not only that, but together with Caroline Graham Hansen and Salma Paralluelo, the team swept the women's podium for the first time ever.

Those weren't the only prizes, for Barça were also named as Club of the Year — as if anyone could possibly have doubted where that trophy was going to go! That was the second most voted option, followed by the amazing 9-0 dispatch of Hammarby in the UWCL, and Alexia Putellas scoring as many goals for the team as the great Kubala.
