PAS Alcoi 3-4 Barça: Opening away win

In a midweek away fixture, the Barça roller hockey team took a 4-3 win at PAS Alcoi to make it two wins out of two for David Cáceres' team after their victory in the Palay over Voltregà. 

Three Barça goals before half time 

After an even opening few minutes, Barça began to exert control on proceedings and in the 9th minute an excellent effort from Pablo Álvarez opened the scoring for the visitors. Just three minutes later Alabart double the blaugranes' lead with an individual effort. 

There were more goals before half time: Eloi Cervera added a third for Barça before Alcoi's Gonzalo Pérez pulled one back for the home side. 

In the second half former Barça player Manel Hernández made it 3-2 and brought Alcoi right back into the contest. Ferran Font seemed to have put the visitors out of danger when he made it 4-2 to Barça but a late goal from another ex-blaugrana, Joan Pascual, made for a nail biting last minute as Cáceres' team held on for the win.
