Ewa Pajor could not have dreamed of a better start to life in blaugrana. FC Barcelona's Polish striker has netted nine times in just six league games, the best ever start to a season by an FC Barcelona player. Until now, the record was shared by Asisat Oshoala and Sonia Bermúdez, who both scored seven in their first six matches.
Pajor already had six going into this weekend's derby with Espanyol, but she claimed a hat-trick in just 45 minutes on the field, totally changing a game that her team was actually losing at the break but went on to win 7-1.
Curiously, her compatriot Robert Lewandowski - who she imitated after scoring on Sunday - is also top scorer for the men's team, having scored an extraordinary 10 goals so far, including a hat-trick of his own in the last outing against Alavés.
There's certainly a very Polish feel to Barça this season, and we're loving it!
