Sunday 13 October was the day for the 50th anniversary celebration of the Peña Barcelonista of Arbúcies, attended by the Vice President of the Social Area, Antonio Escudero, and the President of the Barça Players Association, Juan Manuel Asensi. They began the day by inaugurating a photography exhibition showcasing 50 years of the PB of Arbúcies at the Montseny Ethnological Museum - La Gabella. Following that, there was a parade to the peña’s headquarters, where a commemorative plaque was unveiled. The Barça delegation was welcomed by the town’s mayor, Pere Garriga. Vice President Escudero signed the town's book of honour, and gifts were exchanged.
The celebratory meal brought together around 200 people at the Can Riera de la Pineda restaurant, in an old farmhouse right in the middle of nature. Joaquín Vall·llosera, the President of the PB of Arbúcies, gave the welcome speech, followed by words from Juan Manuel Asensi, President of the FC Barcelona Players Association; and Pere Garriga, Mayor of Arbúcies. The event concluded with a speech from FC Barcelona Vice President Antonio Escudero and the traditional group photo after cutting the commemorative cake.
