Autumn is here and it brings an October full of absorbing games. FC Barcelona have a great month ahead with their five matches including European and domestic commitments. Hansi Flick's side have home games against Young Boys, Sevilla and Bayern Munich, plus away trips to face Alaves and Real Madrid, the latter being the first competitive El Clásico of the season.
Champions League and LaLiga week
What better way to start October. Barça host Young Boys on 1 October (kickoff 9.00pm CEST), which will be the first home European match this season. The defeat away in Monaco makes getting a first win in the competition even more important.
The week is rounded out by an away LaLiga match that will see the blaugranes travel to Vitoria to fulfil the LaLiga matchday nine fixture against Alaves (Sunday 6 October, kickoff 4.15pm CEST). Flick's side will be looking to get back onto the winning trail in the domestic competition after the defeat last time out at the El Sadar stadium.
Home game against Sevilla
The international break to play Nations League matches comes after the two games in the first week, with the first game back seeing Barça play another LaLiga fixture, this time welcoming Sevilla to the Estadi Olímpic on Sunday 20 October (kickoff 9.00pm CEST).
Thrilling final week
The last week of the month looks set to be a thriller. Wednesday 23 October will see Bayern Munich come to the Catalan capital for the Champions League matchday three fixture of the league phase, and then just three days later, the blaugranes will travel to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium for this season's first competitive El Clásico (Saturday 26 October, kickoff 9pm CEST).
