To celebrate FC Barcelona's 125th anniversary, Jacob & Co has launched the Epic X Tourbillon timepiece, a limited edition of only 125 pieces, inspired by the club’s official crest as well as branding elements and the iconic blaugrana colours.
This exclusive, personalised item was designed by the New York luxury brand in collaboration with FC Barcelona, and is their first creation for the legendary football club.
Elements and inspiration
With an 18k rose gold case, the club crest, and the vibrant blaugrana colors, the design pays homage to Barça's rich history while embodying Jacob & Co's cutting-edge craftsmanship. A fusion of two legacies to be cherished by collectors and fans alike.
The years "1899" and "2024" are engraved on the dial, signalling the club's evolution from its foundation to this historical milestone. The position of the years, with "2024" at the top and "1899" at the bottom, symbolises the passage of time; the hands first pass through the present and move towards the past as the seconds tick by, crossing the "125 years" mark in tribute to the club’s origins, honouring the enduring spirit of FC Barcelona.
The meticulously designed open dial showcasing the tourbillon mechanism is a visual tribute to the club’s proud history and its unique and unmistakable identity.
