Week of rendezvous with the international penyas

The penyas in the USA and China have been very active during the respective preseasons for the women's football first team and the men's basketball team.

For the Women's football first team, there were two get togethers to make the most of the two games played in the USA. The first involved the San Francisco and Houston penyas, who also spent some time with FC Barcelona vice-president Elena Fort, and the director responsible for women's football, Xavier Puig.

The local penyas watched on as Pere Romeu's side beat Bay FC, with the penyas from Los Angeles and Fresno also enjoying the game from the stands.

The local penya also managed to chat with Elena Fort and Xavier Puig when the team played in Dallas.

Rendezvous with the men's basketball team in China

The men's basketball team also felt the warmth from the penyas movement in China too. The Penya Blaugrana Shanghai celebrated their recent oficial recognition with a reception, attended by FC Barcelona Board of Directors Secretary and director of the basketball team Josep Cubells, and former FC Barcelona basketball player and ambassador Audie Norris. The penya members in China also attended two basketball games in the country.
