Barça Atlètic 2024/25 gets started

Routine medicals and fitness tests gets the reserve team's preseason under way this Monday morning

Barça Atlètic 2024/25 is under way. The holidays are over for the reserves and this Monday they were back at work, starting with routine medical checks.

As most of the members of the Barça Atlètic have started the preseason working with Hansi Flick, the reserve squad currently includes a number of players from the U19 setup, namely Edu Sánchez, Pocho, Biel Vicens, Joan Anaya, Rubén Cantero, Álvaro Cortés, Pau Prim, Juan Hernández, Albert Navarrro, Aron Yaakobishvili, Brian Fariñas, Eder Aller, Eman Kospo, Dani Ferrer, Arnau Pradas, Guillem Víctor, Landry, Leo Saca, Adrián Guerrero and Pedro Fernández, while Percan and Aleix Garrido are injured.

The day began with blood and urine tests, cardio, podiatry, body composition tests and also a visit to the dentist, all part of the routine when players report back for a new season at the club. 

Training in the afternoon

The Barça Atlètic squad will train for the first time on Monday evening. That's a 6.30pm CEST start on pitch 3 at the Ciutat Esportiva. The session will be taken by assistant coach Albert Sánchez.
