Rokas Jokubaitis will not be staying at Barça in the 2024/25 season. The club and the Lithuanian have decided to sever the contractual ties between the two until 30 June 2025. The club thanks the players for his efforts to resolve the situation and thanks him for his commitment during his time at the club, wishing him all the very best in his personal and professional future.
Jokubaitis came to Barcelona in the summer of 2021 from Zalgiris Kaunas, the club where he grew up. In three seasons at the Palau Blaugrana he has played 244 games, including 116 in the Liga Endesa and 112 in the EuroLeague.
In his first season he was named EuroLeague Young Player of the Year. He leaves having won the Liga Endesa (2023), Copa del Rey (2022) and two Catalan Leagues (2022 & 2023).
