Khalid and his magic returns for futsal team

Barça pick up the player on a free transfer on a two year deal after his departure from the Club five seasons ago

Right winger Khalid Bouzid returns to FC Barcelona after a five years spell at Industrias Santa Coloma. The 26 year old Barcelona born Moroccan international signs a two year deal as a free agent after a successful final season at Industrias in which he scored 19 goals in 26 appearances in the league.

Bouzid initially joined Barça at the age of 15 and in his time as a blaugrana he claimed a Second Division title with the B team as well as two U19 league titles.

In the summer of 2019 he left for Industrias Santa Coloma where he made his debut in the first division. After five seasons at Barça's near neighbours, he returns to the Club a more experienced and rounded player after having represented Morocco in the World Cup in Lithuania in 2021.

Khalid signs a two year contract until June 2026 and becomes the second signing for the futsal team this summer following the arrival this week of Eric Martel.

“I accept the challenge”

"I have improved a lot defensively in recent years, a key factor in playing for a great team like Barça. I can't put into words how happy I am because I am a Barça fan and I am grateful for the chance the Club has given and I am sure I will make the most of it," said Khalid on the news of his return as a blaugrana.
