Exploring past events: JO Barcelona at the Palau

Last Tuesday, May 7, we had the privilege of hosting JOBarcelona24 at our facilities. An event that connects leading national and international companies with the best Junior Talent in its twelfth edition, which took place at the Palau Blaugrana.

JOBarcelona2024 successfully concluded the event, marked by record-breaking attendance and participation figures. More than 120 national and international companies attended with more than 1,350 job and internship offers for over 8,000 young people seeking to enter the job market. In this way, junior talent comprised of recent graduates and students attended JOBarcelona to find job opportunities. The event also featured more than 90 conferences, masterclasses, round tables, and workshops of all kinds, offering professional career guidance.

More than 500 human resources professionals from various leading companies had the opportunity to meet with potential candidates, with industrial engineering, IT profiles, applied sciences such as mathematics, chemistry or physics, health sciences, business and marketing profiles, sciences, and tourism being the most sought-after profiles during this edition. In total, more than 21,000 interviews were conducted within the framework of JOBarcelona.

Additionally, during the event, all kinds of workshops on job searching were held, from mentoring for resumes, cover letters, elevator pitch practices, job interview rehearsals, how to use AI to enter the job market, tips to improve negotiation during interviews, etc. On the other hand, JOBarcelona also featured dance and creativity activities to create a good atmosphere.
