Manzanares 5-4 Barça: The Palau factor is needed

The magic of the Palau Blaugrana is going to be needed. The Barça futsal team was defeated at the Manzanares Arena and the quarter final series will now be decided by the third and final game at the Palau. In an end-to-end thriller, Puigvert put the catalans ahead with just six minutes to play but in a nightmare 36th minute two quick goals from Daniel and Cortés turned everything around to the delight of the home fans but to the utter dismay of FC Barcelona. 

And so to Thursday at 8.30pm CEST when playing in front of the blaugrana faithful will hopefully give the team that extra push over the line to earn a semi-final against Cartagena, who got the job done the quick way by beating Inter in their own series.

In an end-to-end thriller, Adolfo put Barça ahead in the first minute, but Manzanares rapidly responded with two goals of their own before levelled things up again on 13 minutes.

The same player then gave Barça the lead again after the break, but four minutes later the sides were level yet again. And so to the fatidic finale, when Puigvert's good work was so frustratingly undone and it all ended 5-4 to the hosts.
