Institutional reception for European champions on Sunday in Plaça Sant Jaume

The FC Barcelona women's team will be received tomorrow by the highest authorities of Catalonia and Barcelona to commemorate the UEFA Women's Champions League title won by Jonathan Giráldez and his team on Saturday. The three-time European champions, together with the club president and members of his Board of Directors will be in Plaça Sant Jaume for a victory ceremony at the Generalitat de Catalunya (7.15pm) and later at the City Hall as well as parading all four trophies won this season to the fans, for they not only won the continental crown, but also the Liga F, Copa de la Reina and Super Copa de España.
The blaugrana entourage will arrive by coach at the corner of Via Laietana with Plaça de l'Àngel ready for the final leg into Plaça Sant Jaume along Carrer de Jaume I. Fans will only be able to enter the area via Carrer Jaume I, Carrer de Ferran and Carrer del Bisbe, the other streets serving only as evacuation routes and for use by emergency services.
The reception at the Generalitat de Catalunya will start at 7.15pm, and will be attended by the players and coaching staff, president Joan Laporta, institutional vice-president Elena Fort, the director responsible for women's football Xavi Puig, and other members of the Board of Directors. On behalf of the Generalitat, the president in office, Pere Aragonès, will be accompanied by the councillor of the Presidency, Laura Vilagrà, and the general secretary for Sport and Physical Activity, Anna Caula. They will welcome the team at the front entrance and escort them to the Gothic Courtyard, where the reception will take place.
Afterwards, the group will cross Plaça Sant Jaume to be received by the mayor of the city of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni; and by his Councilor for Sports, David Escudé, and other members of the council, where the team will be honoured in the Saló de Cent.
The events are scheduled to end at 9.00pm.
Media coverage
Media wishing to cover both the Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya reception and the Barcelona City Council reception must register before tomorrow, Sunday 26 May, at 1.00pm. Access to unaccredited media will not be allowed.

Media access to the Palau will be through the door in C/Sant Sever from 6pm for the collection of passes. Due to space limitations, only one team per media will be accredited.
All media will be able to follow the two scheduled receptions from inside the Palau and the City Hall, but the images of the players arriving in the square and the subsequent transfer to the City Hall can only be covered by camera operators and photographers in an enabled point in the middle of the square. The players' appearances on the balcony will be filmed from this point, which will be set up with a press rack.
TV3 will post the images of the receptions in the Torre de Collserola for all media so requiring.
Reporters and radio stations will be able to follow the reception at the Palau from the Press Room, or from the Gothic Courtyard itself, where the speeches and photo sessions will be happening
