Tests carried out on Monday have confirmed that first team player Frenkie de Jong has a right ankle sprain. He is unavailable and his recovery will determine his availability.
In Sunday's Clásico in the Santiago Bernabéu, the Dutch midfielder was forced off towards the end of the first half after a tackle with Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde. De Jong had only been back a few weeks following his recovery from a ligament injury in his right right ankle, making his comeback in the first leg of the Champions League quarter final against Paris Saint-Germain, his first appearance since picking up the injury against Athletic Club in San Mamés at the beginning of March.
